Clinical Nurse Coordinator Clinical Decision Unit

Overview The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all functions in the Clinical Decision Unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and serves as a resource for staff to support an unparalleled patient experience. Responsibilities Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient‑centered care. Assist with admission and discharge processes. Partner with subject matter experts and the leadership team to support improved outcomes and service. Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement. Assist with staff scheduling. Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies. Qualifications Required Experience: One year of RN experience. Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a BSN obtained within 5 years of hire. RNs with 10+ years of experience are exempt. Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing. Required License: Current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC license may apply (confirm with NCBON). Required Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider. Preferred Certification: National Certification in area of specialty.
