Maintenance Technician

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will keep our production lines running smoothly by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting unexpected breakdowns, and executing mechanical and electrical repairs on industrial equipment. You will play a critical part in minimizing downtime, maintaining plant safety, and optimizing operational efficiency.Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures on high-speed production lines.Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine PM inspections on motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyor systems, air compressors, and automated machinery according to scheduled work orders.Electrical Systems: Read schematics and work safely with industrial controls, three-phase power systems (up to 480V), sensors, relays, and motor drives.PLC Maintenance: Perform basic diagnostic checks and troubleshooting on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to identify automation faults.Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc flash standards, OSHA regulations, and company safety guidelines.Record Keeping: Document all completed work orders, parts inventory usage, and equipment logs within our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of mechanical drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial electricity.Certifications/Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
