Duties

Help

• You will apply advanced federal pay-setting rules and compensation authorities to provide expert-level guidance on complex pay action.
• You will design and execute staffing strategies, including assessment development and recruitment plans for hard-to-fill or mission-critical positions.
• You will interpret and apply federal classification standards to complex, unique, or high-visibility positions.
• You will provide authoritative consultation on classification, staffing, compensation, and comprehensive HR solutions.
• You will interpret, apply, and advise on federal HR policy to ensure compliance and resolve human capital issues.
• You will accomplish other duties as assigned.

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next DA-4 STRL Pay Band or equivalent GS-11/12 Grade Level or equivalent Pay Band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of qualifying specialized experience: (1) Applying a full range of position classification and position management principles, concepts, practices and techniques sufficient to advise managers of complex multi-mission organization; (2) Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in staffing, recruitment, and pay administration flexibilities sufficient to advise managers and other personnel on the sequence and timing, and necessary processes and documentation to effect critical personnel actions; (3) Performing detailed analysis of complex staffing and classification programs to identify problems and recommend solutions; (4) Utilizing a wide range of human resources management theories, concepts, principles, laws, rules, regulations, precedents, and procedures related to staffing, recruitment and placement, classification, and special emphasis programs to advise, identify interrelated problems, draw conclusions, and recommend appropriate courses of action; (5) Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with gain and confidence and cooperation of other HR Professionals; and (6) Demonstrated written and oral communication skills sufficient to prepare findings and recommendations.
