This individual will drive business growth by developing new relationships, strengthening existing partnerships, and delivering customized agronomic solutions including foliar nutrition, fertigation programs, grower-applied blends, and water treatment products. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned California territory. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Territory Growth Establish annual sales targets in collaboration with leadership Identify and develop new grower relationships through networking and prospecting Build and manage a strong sales pipeline Expand market presence in developing regions Represent the company at industry trade shows and agricultural events Customer Partnership & Technical Support Provide tailored fertilizer and water-treatment solutions Develop long-term, trusted grower relationships Maintain strong knowledge of crop-specific agronomic practices Deliver data-driven recommendations and reporting Uphold high ethical and professional standards Qualifications High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred Minimum 3+ years of agronomy-focused sales experience within California agriculture 5+ years preferred Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) license preferred Working knowledge of fertilizer formulation strongly preferred Ability to independently manage a sales territory Core Competencies Strong communication and relationship-building skills Highly organized and self-motivated Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools Analytical and solution-oriented Comfortable working both in-office and in field environments
