Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Empathic Pathways Counseling, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting therapeutic sessions with couples and individuals, addressing a wide variety of mental health issues.

• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and dynamics of each family or couple.
\n
• Employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy.

• Engaging in ongoing assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
\n
• Facilitating group therapy sessions and workshops designed to enhance family communication and relational dynamics.

• Providing crisis intervention and support to clients facing immediate challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on various patient populations, including adults and children/adolescents. You will address issues such as:

• Physical and psychological trauma or abuse

• Grief and loss
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts among family members

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this role will hold the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
