This position is a remote role, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of our counseling team. Our typical work hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, providing a structured schedule that supports work-life balance. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately determine the specific emotional and psychological needs of elderly clients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on coping mechanisms for aging-related challenges, life transitions, and emotional distress.

• Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to the unique needs of geriatric residents.

• Provide education and resources to family members and staff, enhancing their understanding of mental health issues and effective support strategies for elderly individuals.

• Lead grief counseling sessions for residents and families navigating the end-of-life process, providing compassionate support during these profound life experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
