Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Inspire growth and spark lasting change as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher serving preschoolers ages 3-5 in a center-based setting. This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated educator prepared to nurture the cognitive, social, emotional, communicative, and physical development of children with diverse needs. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education licensure for Early Childhood or willingness to obtain
• Background in developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Experience with early childhood assessments and classroom-based observations
• Strong ability to collaborate with families, general educators, and related service providers
• Skillful in positive behavior supports and social-emotional interventions
• Aptitude for guiding and supporting paraprofessionals in the classroom
• Commitment to fostering inclusive, engaging, and accessible learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based instruction and meaningful interventions in a play-based, small-group setting
• Conduct assessments and observations to inform eligibility determinations, educational goals, and instructional approaches
• Frequently monitor and communicate student progress while updating IEPs
• Partner closely with families, general education teachers, and specialists to drive student success
• Implement proactive social-emotional and behavioral strategies to encourage engagement and growth
• Provide oversight and direction to paraprofessionals supporting classroom instruction

This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with focused morning and afternoon sessions.
