Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4 required)
• Prior experience or a strong interest in elementary resource special education
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication skills for parent and team collaboration
• Adaptability and creativity in modifying instruction
• Commitment to professional growth and supportive team dynamics

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction to elementary students with diverse learning needs in a resource setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to ensure student growth
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and related service providers
• Track progress toward academic and behavioral goals, utilizing data to inform instructional decisions
• Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Participate in professional development sessions and staff meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal requirements
