And we’re reimagining how space can connect us, ensuring security and prosperity.Join us in shaping a new era in space and find a career that's built for you.Key activities you will accomplish in this role:• Performs various duties including overseeing harness fabrication and harness installation and Instrumentation/sensor installation for flight hardware.• Helps ATLO determine sequence of build and fabrication problems during the build and integration of harness assemblies.• Review, provide feedback and sign off on Engineering Drawings.• Manages time effectively and can work independently.• Effective communicator, routinely interfaces with program personnel, manufacturing engineers and reports harness build and integration status to leadership.• Mentor lower-level design engineers and support/lead training and onboarding efforts. Provide oversite to lower-level design engineers, reviewing engineering designs/tabletop reviews and provide general technical/floor support guidance.• Supports team by providing engineering dispositions on Q-notes. Trouble shoots and correct anomalies with discrepant hardware.• Primarily supporting 1st shift on a 9-80 schedule. On occasion, may need to support 2nd shift and/or weekends shifts as needed to support program needs.• Perform role as Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) for the harness subsystem which includes reviewing top level requirements, cable routing support, product, and material selection.
