Job Description Position: Security Officer – Entry Verification (Access Control Officer) Location: Reynoldsburg, OH Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour Job Schedule: Daytime shifts: Tuesday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Wednesday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Saturday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sunday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail location. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to control authorized access for employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document security‑related concerns, reporting them through proper channels. Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, entry points, and perimeter as conditions vary by site. Assist with crowd management, monitor high‑traffic areas, and deter unauthorized activity, theft, and policy violations. Minimum Requirements Valid driver’s license consistent with Allied Universal driver policy. At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles. High school diploma or equivalent. Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Consideration of applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws. Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements subject to state and local regulations and may be required prior to employment.
