Location: Toronto, ON(Remote)
Mode: Contract
Position Summary
We are looking for a technology-driven Business Systems Analyst to support the Product 2.0 enterprise transformation program. The role will focus on requirements gathering, business process analysis, user story development, acceptance criteria, solution documentation, and end-to-end traceability across Syndigo PIM, PCM, DAM, integrations, and AI-enabled product data capabilities .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, and design reviews.
- Document business and functional requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, Jira work items, test cases, and releases.
- Analyze product onboarding, vendor onboarding, and product maintenance workflows.
- Define business rules for product hierarchy, taxonomy, brand management, vendor enrichment, product content, and reference data.
- Support product data governance, data quality, stewardship, and audit requirements.
- Define integration requirements between PIM/PCM, DAM, SAP/MDG, IMS, PMM, ESB, Vendor Central, and downstream systems.
- Analyze product data flows, APIs, file exchanges, transformations, and exception handling.
- Create current-state and future-state process models.
- Partner with Architects, Developers, QA, Product Owners, SMEs, and vendors.
- Support SIT, E2E, UAT, defect triage, release readiness, cutover, and hypercare.
- Use AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, and Atlassian Rovo for requirements, documentation, testing, and analysis.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong SDLC and Agile experience.
- Experience with PIM, PCM, MDM, product data governance, or enterprise data initiatives .
- Strong experience writing business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
- Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Microsoft 365, and AI productivity tools .
Preferred Qualifications
- Syndigo PIM / Syndigo Vendor Central experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Syndigo implementations, product onboarding, taxonomy management, workflow configuration, integrations, and data migration.
- MDM and product data governance experience.
- Knowledge of GTINs, UPCs, SKU management, product taxonomy, brand hierarchies, and vendor data .
- Experience with APIs, ESB, XML, JSON, and SFTP integrations.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted business analysis and testing.
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent certification is an asset.
