Family Care Center, founded in 2016 by two U.S. Army Veterans, is a leading behavioral health provider with nearly 30 outpatient clinics across Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Tennessee, and Texas. The Clinical Supervisor will play a key role in managing a clinical team, ensuring high-quality care, and supporting providers to achieve excellence. Position Overview The Clinical Supervisor is a versatile, self‑motivated professional who collaborates closely with the Clinical Director to oversee clinical operations, supervision, documentation, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, maintaining compliance, managing caseloads, and driving continuous improvement. Essential Responsibilities Provide quality assurance in clinical care and documentation. Recommend and implement changes to improve service delivery and new programming. Serve on agency committees, work groups, and other bodies. Adhere to federal and state laws and Family Care Center policies, including HIPAA. Deliver new‑hire instruction for students in the appropriate discipline. Allocate approximately 20 admin hours weekly to intake and patient activities. Supervise assigned clinical personnel with a frequency of at least bi‑weekly. Lead clinical team meetings to ensure service goals are met and changes are communicated. Review caseloads and productivity, ensuring services are scheduled and delivered weekly. Monitor compliance with treatment services and address “no show” and cancellation concerns. Manage referral list, schedule new cases, and set performance expectations for providers. Offer guidance to providers with below‑average outcomes and consult on disciplinary actions. Participate in monthly peer review and quality improvement activities. Review, reject, and approve clinical documentation daily, providing feedback. Report all adverse incidents immediately to the Clinical Director. Conduct peer supervision reviews twice a month. Review assessments and diagnoses with the Clinical Director. Ensure treatment plan service delivery compliance. Collaborate with the Clinical Director to manage productivity. Address complaints from payers or consumers and report per policy. Ensure documentation meets internal and external payer requirements. Provide ongoing feedback to clinical staff on quality and performance. Assist with onboarding curriculum and training. Monitor HIPAA compliance and report breaches. Support intake, diagnostic evaluations, CANS Assessments, and CANS 2.0 as needed. Establish relationships with clients, caseworkers, probation officers, family, and staff. Maintain professional licensure in good standing. Perform additional duties as assigned. Manage staff performance, coaching, and disciplinary action. Required Skills / Abilities Clinical expertise in crisis intervention and assessment of the chronically mentally ill and individuals undergoing acute psychiatric distress. Ability to work within a comprehensive community mental health team and represent the company publicly. Leadership experience with a staff of professionals and paraprofessionals. Familiarity with community support systems, health care and human service resources, court, police, and related activities. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Availability and flexibility for work on weekends. Adherence to the professional code of ethics. Knowledge of and compliance with the State Mental Health Code. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise the service staff of the assigned program and evaluate performance. Make employment action recommendations to the Clinical Program Director. Direct daily operations of assigned units, schedule meetings, services, and staff time. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in a mental health discipline (LPC, LCSW, or PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology) – preferred. At least 3–5 years of professional therapy experience. At least three years of clinical supervision experience.
