Work Environment\n

This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a commitment to delivering quality care. You will have access to necessary digital tools and resources to conduct therapy sessions effectively, manage patient documentation, and collaborate with your colleagues. While the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to address varying patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand patients' unique backgrounds and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring they resonate with the individual’s personal experiences and cultural considerations.

• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions that not only address immediate mental health concerns but also cultivate resilience and a sense of community.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic care plan that meets each patient's comprehensive needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services promptly during mental health emergencies and offer essential support to patients and their families.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, effective treatment pathways, and available community support resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficiency.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to continuously refine therapeutic practices.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health to consistently deliver high-quality therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve serving a diverse range of patients, including those from underrepresented backgrounds, individuals navigating LGBTQ+ issues, and members of immigrant communities. You will have the privilege to engage with clients from various walks of life, providing tailored mental health care that acknowledges and respects their unique experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, along with demonstrated cultural competence in therapy.

• Proven experience providing therapy in individual and group settings with culturally responsive methods.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, demonstrating the capacity to remain composed in challenging circumstances.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster meaningful relationships with a diverse clientele.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital communication tools.

• A commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and the maintenance of professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
