Job Title: Legal Assistant Location: Dallas, TX Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Type of Employment: Contract-to-Hire Compensation: $28/hr - $34/hr Industry: Legal Services Benefits: Dental, Vision, and Health Insurance after 60 days on contract Job Description Addison Group is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our client's litigation team in Dallas. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain case calendars, including scheduling depositions, hearings, and deadlines months in advance Review, organize, and categorize incoming legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings Prepare and track case files to ensure accuracy and timeliness throughout the litigation process Provide administrative and litigation support for a team of attorneys, assisting with projects as needed Maintain discretion and accuracy while handling sensitive and confidential information Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal Assistant Prior law firm experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to legal research or case management software is a plus Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and multitasking skills Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred, but not required Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
