Labcorp is seeking a full‑time Phlebotomy Technician to join our team at 890 Mill Street, Reno, NV 89502. Work Schedule Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with rotating weekends. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. California‑state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). Preferred Qualifications One year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at LabCorp. Additional Job Standards An application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may satisfy the license requirement. One year or more phlebotomy experience with geriatrics and pediatric patients. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Pay Range $23.00 – $33.00 per hour. Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern, or temporary positions are eligible only for the 401(k) plan.
