Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing the LCSW to engage with clients and colleagues from the comfort of their home office while still being an integral part of our Detox Center operations. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, although there may be occasional evening or weekend hours based on client needs and availability. Our remote environment fosters autonomy while emphasizing teamwork and collaboration through regular virtual meetings and shared resources.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the psychosocial needs of clients facing substance use and mental health challenges, implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities to support clients in their recovery journey and help them develop coping strategies and life skills.

• Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and addiction specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.

• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in navigating healthcare systems, community resources, and support services that enhance their discharge planning and ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Southwest Behavioral Health Center, your primary focus will be on clients experiencing major mental illness, severe emotional disorders, and substance use disorders. You will engage with a vulnerable population requiring empathetic understanding and professional guidance to overcome their challenges, emphasizing empowerment and client choice throughout the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• Active LCSW licensure is required, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.

• Expert knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment methodologies, risk assessment, and crisis intervention strategies specific to substance use disorders.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, complemented by the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, respecting varying traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles.

• Strong organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple clients and tasks while adhering to deadlines.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience as a social worker, preferably in a substance use treatment setting.
