Shift & Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM | 32 Hours/Week Guaranteed

Pay Rate: $50 - $58/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced RN to provide emergency and urgent care nursing for adult and pediatric patients, including triage, assessment, telemetry monitoring, and medication administration.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN License in hand.

• Minimum 5 years of Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department experience.

• BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

• EPIC charting and Omnicell medication system experience.

• Strong telemetry skills and cardiac rhythm interpretation.

• Must pass the hospital rhythm test with 80% rhythm identification and 100% critical rhythm identification.

• Permanent residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility.

• Flu vaccine required during flu season unless an approved exemption applies.

• ACLS, triage experience, and Level I Trauma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients.

• Perform triage and comprehensive patient assessments.

• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms.

• Administer medications using Omnicell and document care in EPIC.

• Identify and respond promptly to critical changes in patient condition.

• Float to other units based on manager discretion and skill set.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.
