CNC Operator

Start your new career as a CNC Operator with MAU at Southern Aluminum Finishers in Villa Rica, GA. As a CNC Operator, you will set up, program, and operate CNC fabrication equipment to produce quality metal components according to drawings and customer specifications. This is a direct-hire opportunity. What We Offer:
- Pay of $17-$28 per hour, based on experience
- First shift: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM; Friday, 5:00 AM-1:00 PM

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of CNC machine operating experience
- Experience with machine setup, tooling, blueprint reading, and precision measuring equipment preferred
- G-code, M-code, and conversational programming experience preferred
- Ability to read production instructions, drawings, and blueprints
- Basic computer and math skills, including use of a tape measure
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Availability to work overtime as needed
- ACT WorkKeys score of 4+ in Reading for Information and Applied Mathematics
- Substance abuse testing is a condition of employment
- Operate CNC and fabrication equipment, including brake presses, shears, saws, rollers, routers, and turrets
- Verify machine settings, tooling, materials, and programs before production
- Read drawings and measure materials to ensure accurate fabrication
- Set up and adjust tooling and make basic machine adjustments
- Inspect finished materials for quality and customer specifications
- Identify and report machine, material, or quality issues
- Follow production schedules, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and 5S standards
- Support continuous improvement and perform other duties as assigned
