Degreed Accounting & Finance Associate South Bay, CA | Temp-to-Hire | $25-$27/hour Are you an ambitious professional looking to launch your career in accounting or finance? This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are eager to learn, gain hands-on experience, and build a long-term career within accounting, finance, or business operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions
- Support account reconciliations and financial reporting activities
- Analyze financial and operational data using Excel
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and data analysis for management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity
- Provide administrative and operational support to the finance team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Internship experience in accounting, finance, banking, business operations, or related field highly preferred
- Strong academic record; GPA of 3.3+ preferred
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, athletics, volunteer work, internships, military service, or campus involvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and desire to learn
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- $25-$27 per hour, depending on experience and skill set
