About the Role

The Asset Manager is responsible for the financial and operational performance of an assigned portfolio of approximately 7–8 apartment communities totaling roughly 1,200 units.

This role serves as the connection point between ownership, operations, accounting, and onsite teams. The Asset Manager will analyze performance, identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive execution across the portfolio.

This position is based out of Stellar Residential’s Phoenix corporate office and is designed for a highly collaborative leader who thrives in an environment where ideas are shared, decisions are made quickly, and accountability is valued.

The Asset Manager will spend time partnering with executive leadership while also supporting portfolio performance through regular property visits and onsite engagement.

The Asset Manager will report directly to the Vice President and will have regular interaction with Stellar’s executive leadership team. This provides a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic decisions, gain exposure to all areas of the business, and grow as a leader.

The right person will have the autonomy to make decisions, but also the accountability to deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Performance

· Own the financial and operational performance of an assigned portfolio.

· Analyze monthly financial statements, operating reports, and key performance indicators.

· Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve NOI, and enhance asset value.

· Develop and execute asset-specific improvement plans.

· Monitor occupancy, leasing performance, collections, concessions, and resident retention.

· Review budgets, forecasts, and capital improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

· 3–5 years of multifamily property management, operations, or asset management experience.

· Demonstrated success improving property performance.

· Strong understanding of multifamily financial statements and operating metrics.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Advanced Excel skills.

· Experience with ResMan preferred.

· Bachelor's degree required.
