Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Michigan Special Education Teaching License (active at the time of application; candidates will be asked to verify license status)
• Experience working with high school students in ASD or similar special education settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt instructional methods and materials to meet individual student goals
• Collaborative spirit when working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Create inclusive, structured classroom environments that promote student learning and engagement
• Modify curriculum, deliver differentiated instruction, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with related service providers, general education staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with applicable regulations
• Foster positive relationships and advocate for each student’s unique needs
