Labor & Employment Associate
Location: Los Angeles (90067)
Type: Hybrid; In-office 3 days/week
Overview: An AM 100 firm with 1,000 Attorneys coast to coast is actively seeking an attorney to join its L&E Practice in Los Angeles.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate must have a Juris Doctorate (JD) and will be licensed to practice law in the State of California and 5-7 years of relevant L&E experience
- Experience in defending against single plaintiff litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and reasonable accommodation.
- Experience with PAGA matters.
- Experience with class actions.
- Ability to handle day-to-day case responsibilities with moderate independence and in collaboration with senior attorneys.
- Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
- Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery.
- Experience drafting and arguing motions including dispositive and discovery motions.
- Experience conducting and defending depositions, including plaintiff depositions and corporate witness depositions.
- Experience providing employment counseling on federal and state employment laws and regulations is preferred but not required.

Compensation: $245,000 to $270,000 DOE.
