Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' emotional, social, and environmental challenges, ensuring to consider their individual circumstances and backgrounds.

• Develop and implement personalized service plans that outline specific goals and interventions, and monitor progress regularly to adjust strategies as needed.

• Provide empathetic counseling sessions, helping individuals and families navigate challenges such as substance abuse, mental health issues, and crises.

• Facilitate crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning, responding swiftly to clients in challenging situations.

• Collaborate with various community agencies and organizations to coordinate resources, ensuring clients have access to comprehensive support systems.

• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness about available services and advocating for those in need.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions, contributing to continuous professional development and team collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals facing substance use disorders and related mental health issues within a Detox Center environment. You will support a diverse clientele, each with unique challenges requiring tailored interventions. Building rapport and trust with clients will be paramount to helping them navigate their recovery journey and achieve lasting change.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.

• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is necessary to provide clinical services.

• Proficiency in crisis intervention strategies and familiarity with evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
