Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

Salary range:

• $70K–$75K (for candidates with ~3 years of experience)

• $55K–$60K (for entry-level candidates)

Job Purpose

• Support business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting initiatives to enable data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and business growth.

• Deliver actionable insights through business analysis, KPI reporting, Power BI dashboards, and AI-assisted automation to improve operational efficiency and strategic performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Business & Financial Analysis

• Analyze sales, financial, customer, and operational data to identify trends, monitor KPIs, and perform variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting — translating complex data into actionable insights that support strategic and financial decision-making.

2. BI Reporting & Executive Communication

• Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and executive reporting materials using Power BI and Excel; deliver clear, data-driven narratives to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.

3. Business Requirements & Systems Support

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements, analyze processes, and support system enhancements — including UAT execution, data integrity validation, and translation of business needs into technical solutions.

4. Process Improvement & AI-Assisted Automation

• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities by leveraging AI agents, Microsoft Copilot, and automation tools to streamline reporting workflows and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration,

• Economics, or a closely related field

• Degree in a directly related specialty is normally required for entry-level Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) roles

• Knowledge of U.S. regulations including FDA and cGMP

• Relevant professional certifications in corporate financial planning and analysis (e.g., AFP certification pathway)
