Accountant

Our client is seeking an Accountant to manage a portfolio of investment or financing entities, supporting financial reporting, loan administration, reconciliations, and compliance activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working closely with investors, lenders, auditors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain loan schedules in accordance with legal documentation
• Prepare disbursement packets and initiate transactions through banking platforms
• Complete required reporting within established timelines
• Prepare reconciliations and reconcile assigned entities and accounts
• Review tax returns and support related accounting activities
• Coordinate and respond to requests from external audit firms
• Support onboarding and closing of new deals and transactions
• Assist with exit activities and related documentation
• Serve as a point of contact for investors, lenders, and business partners regarding deal-specific questions
• Prepare quarterly reporting and annual compliance documentation
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and general ledger records for assigned entities
• Monitor cash flows and support financial tracking activities
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements
• Support collection of management fees and expense reimbursements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with accounting and general ledger maintenance
• Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
