Details Float pool position covering all Medical/Surgical units as needed Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week No on-call requirements EPIC EMR experience required Deferred schedule type with no RTO permitted Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month Requirements Active GA or compact RN license Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical/Surgical specialty Experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma hospital settings required Proven success managing critical, fast-paced trauma situations Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered EPIC EMR experience required Work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days Skills checklist, certification cards, and Nursys license verification required for consideration Additional Information Float to various Medical/Surgical units as staffing needs require Work within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex and severe cases Block scheduling is generally not approved by units Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel rate American Traveler Job ID P-748573.
