Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Location: Bronxville, NY
Job Type: Contract | 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5x8 Hours
Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join a dedicated imaging team. The ideal candidate will have strong mammography experience, exceptional patient care skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process
• Position patients accurately to obtain diagnostic-quality images
• Operate mammography equipment and ensure proper image quality and documentation
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support accurate diagnoses
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and quality assurance procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiology required
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology required
• Current ARRT Mammography Certification required
• Strong knowledge of mammography procedures, equipment, and patient care practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
