Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Westfield, MA

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year providing speech-language pathology services in an innovative high school program tailored for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other learning differences. Located in a specialized setting for comprehensive, student-focused learning, you'll collaborate with educators passionate about building essential life and communication skills to foster greater independence in their students.


This assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule with 32.5 hours per week, running from late August through late June. As part of this role, you'll work directly with high school students in a supportive educational environment and provide supervision to an SLPA, contributing your clinical expertise to the growth of both students and fellow professionals.


What You'll Bring:

• Valid state licensure and required credentials in speech-language pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Prior school-based SLP experience, especially with high school or adolescent populations
• Demonstrated understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders and other learning differences
• Experience supervising or mentoring SLPAs preferred
• Commitment to compassionate, individualized care and support

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop and implement therapy plans, and deliver direct SLP services in a high school setting
• Supervise and collaborate with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and communicate regularly with parents and staff
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and effective support strategies
• Adapt services and materials to meet the unique needs of each student
