Opening: Customer Service Representative
Location: Anchorage, AK
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Pay: $25.00-28.00/hr

Our client is a well-established Alaska company within the fuel, petroleum, and distribution industry. They are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their Anchorage team.


This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with customers and drivers, and keeping daily operations organized and running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, comfortable working with multiple departments, and able to provide excellent customer service while managing a variety of administrative and operational responsibilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Greet customers and answer incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner.
• Receive and accurately enter customer orders for products and deliveries.
• Coordinate and schedule daily deliveries while communicating with customers, drivers, and internal departments.
• Utilize dispatch software to monitor delivery trucks, delivery status, and product quantities.
• Respond to customer questions regarding orders, pricing, payments, invoices, products, and deliveries.
• Serve as a liaison between customers, drivers, and other departments to help resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, customer records, and inventory reconciliation.
• Assist with invoicing, data entry, recordkeeping, and other general office responsibilities.
• Research products and applications to help resolve customer questions and requests.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable DOT requirements.
• Participate in safety meetings and promptly communicate any safety concerns, spills, injuries, property damage, or workplace hazards.
• Complete occasional errands and assist with additional office or operational duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service, administrative, dispatch, logistics, or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn dispatch and internal software systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree is a plus, but not required.
