Busch Vacuum Solutions is a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, compressors, and blowers for use in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, food processing, metallurgy, biomedical, and material handling. Busch Vacuum Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at our U.S. headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA! In this role, you will support Total Maintenance Solution (TMS), a Busch Group company, specializing in the repair and sale of industrial vacuum pumps. You will manage day-to-day accounting and finance activities while collaborating closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to support business operations and financial accuracy. Job Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger activities, and reconciliations
• Perform month-end close activities and assist with financial reporting
• Support sales tax coordination, W-9s, 1099s, exempt certificates, and tax documentation
• Manage purchasing activities along with vendor and customer account support
• Monitor expenses and assist with cash tracking activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Provide administrative and office support as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support business operations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts

Required Experience

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 35+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Previous small business accounting experience required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting tools required
• Experience with Global Shop Solutions preferred

Job Requirements

• Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
• Most felonies are a disqualifier, misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis
• Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE
• Willingness to travel domestically for training
• Valid Drivers' License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards
• Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and computer-based work
• Frequent data entry and detailed system navigation activities
• Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
• All applicants must be able to hear and see audible and visual alarms and must be able to wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
