Front Desk Coordinator / Receptionist – Behavioral Health (Full-Time, On-Site) Hialeah, FL | $18 – $23 per hour Vytalyze Minds Corp, a Joint Commission–accredited behavioral health organization, is seeking a professional and highly organized Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for patients, providers, and visitors. This role is critical in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering a positive patient experience. Position Overview The Front Desk Coordinator will manage front office operations, support clinical staff, and maintain an organized and welcoming environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Work Schedule Full-time, on-site. Monday to Friday (with occasional flexibility for extended hours as needed). Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately. Answer and manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and route inquiries appropriately. Verify insurance information and assist with patient intake processes. Maintain front desk organization, including reception area and patient flow. Coordinate provider schedules and assist with appointment confirmations and reminders. Collect and distribute incoming mail and manage outgoing correspondence. Support administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and data entry. Assist with maintaining office supplies and ensuring operational readiness of the workspace. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide general support to management and clinical staff as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required (Associates degree preferred). 12 years of front desk, medical office, or administrative experience preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Experience with scheduling systems and electronic health records (EHR) is a plus. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills.
