Take the next step in your education career by making a difference in the lives of students as a school-based paraprofessional. Available full-time contract roles run through the 2026/2027 school year, with interviews happening now and the academic year starting at the end of July. Support elementary and middle school students (grades K-8) in a dynamic environment that values collaboration, compassion, and growth.
Open positions include:
- Grades 6–8: Provide academic and clerical assistance to both students and teaching staff, helping foster a supportive and organized classroom environment.
- K–2 Paraprofessional (One-on-One): Engage in individualized behavioral and life skills support, including assisting with daily routines such as bathrooming and ensuring safety throughout the day.
- K–2 Paraprofessional (Traditional): Focus on general classroom support with some behavioral support duties, working alongside talented educators to nurture student development.
- Grades 3–5 SpEd Paraprofessional: Fill one of two roles focused on behavioral support for students, offering guidance and positive reinforcement to help all learners thrive.
Desired experience and qualities:
- Background in classroom, special education, or behavioral support settings is highly valued.
- Comfortable working with students requiring a range of academic, behavioral, and personal care assistance.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to respond calmly and professionally to evolving classroom situations.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting instructional activities and initiatives led by teachers.
- Assisting with classroom management, redirection, and behavioral interventions as needed.
- Providing one-on-one or small group guidance.
- Carrying out assigned clerical tasks to help the classroom run smoothly.
