Payroll Coordinator

Job Description

An employer in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their team. This team is responsible for the end-to-end payroll process for the enterprise organization. On a daily basis, this individual will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll operations cross multiple states. This will include preparation, entry and auditing of records, processing while adhering to Federal, State, Local, and company policies and guidelines. It is important that this individual has a team-first mentality and willingness to work closely with various groups in the organization while providing excellent customer service.

This is a permanent position paid hourly. The Hourly rate will depend upon years of experience ranging from $32 - 36

Skills and Requirements

3-5 Years experience in a Payroll Coordinator role

Experience supporting an enterprise organization over 10,000 employees (independently running payroll for 3000-5000 employees)

Experience coordinating and processing payroll for multi-state, union & non-union employees

Strong experience working out of a payroll processing system such as UKG, ADP, Workday, Dayforce, etc.

Associates degree in accounting, business or related field

CPP certification or interest in pursuing Experience with Dayforce

CPP Certification
