Full Time Accounting Services Accountant

A well-established organization in the Triad area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who brings strong technical ability, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable navigating multiple systems and high-volume financial data. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in general accounting along with strong systems experience and exposure to a manufacturing environment. Support day-to-day general ledger and accounting activities Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations Assist with month-end close and financial reporting Research and resolve account discrepancies Work with accounting data across multiple systems and reporting tools Support inventory, costing, and other manufacturing-related accounting activities Assist with process improvements and help identify opportunities for greater efficiency Partner with accounting and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information Provide additional accounting support and analysis as needed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Previous Staff Accountant or comparable general accounting experience Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred Strong systems aptitude with the ability to learn new ERP and accounting platforms quickly Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including experience working with large data sets Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close Available to begin an assignment ASAP
