Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual virtual therapy sessions addressing specific client concerns related to mental health and emotional well-being.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions when appropriate, encouraging peer support and shared experiences among clients.

• Utilize assessments and diagnostic tools to gain insight into client needs and tailor therapeutic approaches accordingly.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care plans that enhance client outcomes, sharing valuable insights from your sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Celestial Hope Recovery Clinic, you will work with clients from various backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts. You will provide culturally competent and inclusive care, adjusting your therapeutic approaches to align with each client’s unique circumstances and cultural context.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current California licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or eligibility to obtain licensure.

• Demonstrable experience in conducting individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions, with a focus on mental health treatment.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathetic communication and active listening.
\n
• Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of clients, fostering an inclusive and supportive therapeutic atmosphere.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure clarity and professionalism in all client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of practice as a mental health counselor, preferably in an outpatient or similar setting.
