Business Analyst

Engage with business units to understand operational workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities Interface with Development or IT staff to understand and translate technical requirements Document current-state processes using process maps, swimlane diagrams, and workflow charts Facilitate discussions to define future-state processes aligned with organizational goals Translate business needs into functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and Azure DevOps work items/user stories Ensure requirements are complete, consistent, testable, and aligned with business priorities Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to refine and validate requirements Develop test plans, test scripts, and step-by-step testing instructions Execute functional testing in Development and Test environments Document defects, track resolution progress, and verify fixes Coordinate, support, or lead user acceptance testing sessions Serve as liaison between business units and technical teams Communicate project updates, risks, and issues Support change management through training materials, documentation, and user guidance Requirements Proven experience gathering and mapping business requirements during large-scale enterprise cloud migrations; Azure preferred Expertise dissecting complex legacy applications, extracting business rules, and mapping them to modern target architectures Demonstrated experience identifying manual bottlenecks and legacy workarounds and transforming them into automated workflows Experience defining requirements for enterprise-wide document storage, capture, and workflow management systems Hands-on experience with structured SDLC frameworks and defined Project Charters Ability to lead Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions Experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Ability to ensure solutions align with security, accessibility, and operational resilience standards USC or GC work authorization only Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or nearby residence due to office travel; no travel expense reimbursement Demonstrates expertise in gathering and mapping business requirements for large-scale enterprise cloud migrations, particularly with Azure.
