Overview Fusion Pharmaceuticals, a member of the AstraZeneca Group, is a clinical‑stage oncology company developing next‑generation radioconjugates (RCs) as precision medicines. Fusion links alpha‑particle emitting isotopes to targeting molecules to deliver payloads selectively to tumors. The clinical portfolio includes FPI‑2265 (targeting PSMA in metastatic castration‑resistant prostate cancer, Phase 2), FPI‑1434 (targeting IGF‑1R, Phase 1), and FPI‑2068 (a bispecific IgG‑based EGFR/cMET radioconjugate, Phase 1). Fusion also plans early FIH trials, combination programs with DDR inhibitors and immune‑oncology agents, and maintains a GMP‑compliant radioconjugate manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Develop and maintain imaging trial documents (e.g., Image Review Charter, Imaging Manual, Data Transmittal Forms, Dosimetry Manuals). Serve as subject‑matter expert on image acquisition, storage, review, and processing for internal and external stakeholders. Archive imaging‑related data for ongoing and completed trials. Collaborate with clinical operations to oversee, conduct, and manage imaging aspects of clinical studies in accordance with protocols, study manuals, timelines, and GCP/ICH guidelines. Assist in managing in‑house image data processing and internal dosimetry efforts supporting research and multidisciplinary initiatives. Support clinical data review and aid in generating clinical research reports, presentations, abstracts, posters, and publications. Assist clinical site staff and investigators with preparation, administration, and waste management of imaging and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals. Respond to radiation safety questions and concerns regarding diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceutical use and precautions. Maintain knowledge of electronic imaging infrastructures (DICOM, PACS, IHE models, image processing, and visualization). Travel as needed (5‑10%). Qualifications Bachelor of Science (life science focus) from an accredited institution and NMTCB/ARRT(N) certification in nuclear medicine or equivalent. Additional training in radiation safety (NMTCB(RS)) or medical physics with an advanced master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. Experience in clinical trials (2‑5 years preferred). Demonstrated technical and analytical problem‑solving skills. Scientific expertise in SPECT and PET imaging (acquisition, reconstruction, image upload). Training in GCP and QA/QC in a clinical trial setting is preferred. Experience with the NRC and Agreement States’ radioactive materials license amendment process. Familiarity with Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) responsibilities. Ability to articulate the role and impact of molecular imaging in drug discovery and development. Self‑motivation with strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task and work effectively in a team or independently. Proficiency in business computer skills and experience with medical imaging workstations (e.g., MIM), dosimetry software, and/or PACS.
