Experienced Billing Clerk

Ancira Auto Group is seeking an experienced billing clerk to join our accounting team immediately. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the integrity of dealership operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and knowledgeable in accounting principles—particularly debits and credits.

This position is based on-site at one location and is not a remote role.

Pay: $20-21 per hour depending on experience

Convenient work location: I-10 @ Huebner

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8:30 to 5:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Bill new and used vehicle deals from finance
• Post incoming and outgoing dealer trades
• Prepare payoff checks for trade-ins
• Stock in new vehicle inventory
• Post daily cash receipts
• Reconcile and collect rebate schedules
• Perform end-of-month reconciliations and detailed reporting
• Conduct monthly physical inventory for both new and used vehicles
• Complete daily data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Collaborate effectively with accounting, sales, and management teams

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting-related work experience or qualifying accounting education
• Strong understanding of debits and credits and general accounting principles
• Automotive dealership or related experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and strong math skills
• Proficiency in Excel and general computer applications
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to act professionally and tactfully
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work harmoniously with others
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional presence
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident
• Must pass pre-employment background screening
