This is an onsite position located at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Homestead, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, medical histories, and limitations to formulate individualized treatment plans that are both evidence-based and tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Utilize various treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like electrical stimulation to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on effective strategies for managing conditions, injury prevention, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
• Maintain open communication and collaborate with fellow healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress towards established goals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance recovery trajectories.
• Stay informed about emerging research, techniques, and equipment within the field of physical therapy through continuous education and professional development.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and enhance the overall quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgical procedures, orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on delivering a holistic approach, ensuring that each patient feels supported emotionally and physically throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
