You will work in our welcoming outpatient office located in the heart of Homestead, Florida. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Positive Change Therapy, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, determining their needs and developing customized treatment plans based on established standards of care.
• Utilize a variety of assessment tools and methodologies to identify patients' goals and track their progress effectively.
• Carefully document each therapy session within our electronic medical record system, ensuring accurate billing and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Perform screenings to identify patients who may benefit from specialized interventions, such as addressing lymphedema or fall risks.
• Implement tailored treatment programs designed to restore function, improve mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent long-term disabilities.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care, addressing all aspects of a patient's physical and mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on outpatient clients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your ability to empathize and connect with patients facing diverse challenges will play a crucial role in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapy License.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in an acute care hospital setting.
• Strong proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques.
• A solid understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Experience and comfort working with pediatric patients.
• Familiarity with hospital medicine practices and competencies in providing inpatient care.
• The ability to thrive in both clinic and hospital environments, adapting to various patient needs.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
