Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, taking into account their medical history, physical condition, and personal goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize a variety of rehabilitation equipment and modalities, providing patients with clear explanations on the use and purpose of each tool.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient progress, treatment provided, and billing in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment protocols, therapeutic exercises, and home care practices to promote recovery.
• Regularly reassess treatment plans and modify goals as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on patient care and share insights on treatment effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to the State Practice Act and Standards of Practice, maintaining knowledge of relevant laws and guidelines.
• Actively contribute to a positive team environment by maintaining punctuality and consistent attendance according to organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, workplace accidents, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will involve tailoring your approach to meet the age-specific and condition-specific needs of patients, ensuring that they receive the most appropriate care to support their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

Education/Training: A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited program in physical therapy is required.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida (temporary permit acceptable).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / HealthCare Provider certification.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 per year, along with a robust benefits package that includes:
