Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand each client's mental health needs, subsequently developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.

• Deliver high-quality individual therapy sessions, employing a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques tailored to promote client growth.

• Collaborate with clients to set and achieve therapeutic goals, monitoring their progress consistently and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide teletherapy sessions to accommodate clients who may prefer virtual meetings or face logistical barriers to in-person visits, ensuring an inclusive approach to mental health care.

• Record and maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, including treatment notes, progress reports, and other administrative requirements to uphold the integrity of care.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and training that enhances your clinical skills and keeps you informed about emerging mental health practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field of psychology or social work is required.

• Candidates must possess a valid and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling is mandatory, preferably within a clinical context.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards surrounding mental health counseling and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team is essential.
