Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Coordinator role based in Greater Cleveland. The Financial Coordinator manages patient financial accounts, including preparing treatment cost estimates, verifying insurances, streamlining the new patient process before it begins, and being the point of contact whenever patients have questions about their financial plans throughout orthodontic treatment. Responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling accounts, monitoring outstanding balances, and following up on delinquent accounts in a professional and respectful manner. The role also involves coordinating insurance verification and billing, tracking claims, and communicating clearly with patients and team members about coverage and financial responsibilities. The Financial Coordinator collaborates closely with the clinical and front desk teams to support accurate scheduling, efficient workflows, and a positive patient experience. Qualifications Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting to manage patient accounts, payments, and reconciliations accurately. Experience with Financial Reporting and Budgeting to support practice performance tracking and assist with financial planning. Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend process improvements. Proficiency with practice management or accounting software, and solid MS Excel skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Clear, professional communication skills and a patient-centered approach to discussing financial matters. Prior experience in healthcare, dental, or orthodontic finance or billing is preferred.
