We, at Leggett & Platt Flooring Products, are searching for a Human Resources Generalist for our Fort Worth, Texas location, employing approximately 90 employees. Our Flooring businesses manufacture and distribute foam, rubber, and fiber-based flooring underlayment for residential and commercial use. Our flooring underlayment products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.So, what will you be doing as an HR Generalist?Coordinate recruiting, advertising, and hiring processes for incoming talentSupport the administration of the branch Affirmative Action planFacilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activitiesMaintain relationships with temporary staffing agencies and assist with workforce needsPartner with branch management to promote consistent application of company policiesSupport training initiatives and performance management processes Create and sustain employee development programs Assist with the administration of employee benefit programsSupport FMLA and Disability processes and assist with Workers’ Compensation coordination alongside the Safety ManagerProvide guidance and support to management and employees regarding employee relations mattersAssist in coordinating employee engagement activities and communicationsPrepare separation paperwork, conduct exit interviews, and track turnover trendsEnsure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws and reporting requirementsPerform other duties as assignedTo be successful in this role, you'll need:Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years experience preferred or 5+ year experience in HRM in place of degreeBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredExperience in a manufacturing or construction environmentWorking knowledge of HR laws and regulationsStrong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organizationProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Things we consider a plus:Bachelor's degree in HR or related areaSHRM or PHR certification Manufacturing experienceWhat to Do NextNow that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
