Job Summary Laboratory Services Administrative Liaison (Analyst II) provides administrative and operational assistance to the Laboratory Services Branch (LSB) of the GDSP Division. The incumbent works under the direction of the Research Scientist Manager (RSM) and LSB Chief, leading procurement, contract, and operational activities while managing asset oversight, regulatory compliance, and laboratory readiness. The role serves as a liaison among GDSP staff, Office of Support Services, contractors, and stakeholders, supporting critical laboratory workflows and developing analyses to inform leadership decision‑making. Responsibilities Provide analytical and consultative support to the Laboratory Services Branch. Lead and coordinate procurement, contracts, and operational activities for laboratory programs. Manage asset and equipment oversight, support records retention and regulatory compliance (CLIA), and ensure laboratory readiness for state and federal inspections. Liaise among GDSP staff, OSS, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, support critical workflow processes, and ensure timely processing of screening services. Develop analyses, reports, and recommendations to inform leadership decision‑making and improve branch operations. Travel may be required for this position. Work Conditions Position is subject to the Personal Leave Program 2025, which temporarily reduces employees’ monthly base pay by 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027. Travel reimbursement is based on the designated headquarters and is subject to applicable regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commuting expenses to the designated headquarters office are the responsibility of the selected candidate. The headquarters office location for this position is identified in the duty statement.
