Job Overview A law firm seeks a Banking and Finance Attorney in New York, NY. This position involves working on sophisticated transactions with leading financial institutions, focusing on complex lending and letter of credit matters. Duties Represent and advise lenders and borrowers in various financing transactions. Structure, negotiate, document, and close domestic and international transactions. Draft and negotiate credit agreements and related documents. Analyze issues under the UCC and Bankruptcy Code. Requirements Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school; admitted to the New York Bar. 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking and finance. Strong background in lending; lender-side experience preferred. Familiarity with letters of credit; exposure to trade or fund finance is advantageous. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast‑paced environment. Education Juris Doctor degree. Certifications Admitted to the New York Bar. Skills Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Experience Experience with AI tools is helpful.
