Data Warehouse Administrator RemoteWe are seeking a Data Warehouse Administrator for a long-term assignment, working 100% remotely from anywhere in the US. Responsibilities include:Performs data warehouse administration for the Enterprise Data Warehouse in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse EnvironmentReviews existing architecture and provides solution recommendations where applicableDevelops, tests, and implements scripts/jobs for data Extract Transform and Load (ETL) from data source(s) to target(s) in the data warehouse using ODIVisualizes and designs the enterprise data management frameworkSpecifies processes used to plan, acquire, maintain, use, archive, retrieve, control, and purge dataHands-on working with and managing Oracle's Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) serviceDevelops physical data model and/or works with data modeler to develop physical data modelDevelops Testing Approach, Plan, Scripts and Documentation of ResultsDevelops and maintains a data catalog for the enterprise data warehouseDevelops and maintains a data dictionary for the enterprise data warehouseParticipates in developing Requirements SpecificationsParticipates in developing Design SpecificationsEvaluates and monitors databases to resolve performance issuesMonitors the EDW and responds to incidentsProvides documentation to support the Kimball Dimensional Data Modeling FrameworkMentors and Education team members on best practices and industry standardsRequired:Senior hands-on Data Warehouse Administrator with strong communication skills.Detail oriented ability to independently build and support an Oracle ADW data warehouse environment at the public cloud with minimal supervisionAbility to translate business and functional requirements into technical requirements for a Data Warehouse and implement approved designBased upon known and future workloads, be able to design VM configuration and resource allocation - inclusive of the CDB and PDB levels.Understand and be able to design and implement compartments, tagging, IAM policies for varied user groups and roles accessing the OADW or OCI tenancy.Understand and be able to guide best practices around tenancy DRG and LPG design and performanceCandidate needs to be able to demonstrate, direct hands-on recent practical experience in the areas identified with specific examples.
