A Patient Services Representative opportunity is available in Los Angeles, CA for a 13-week contract assignment supporting a high-volume healthcare environment. This role is a strong fit for a customer-focused healthcare administrative professional who enjoys patient interaction, front office operations, insurance coordination, and accurate medical record support.

The Patient Services Representative will serve as an important first point of contact for patients, providers, staff, and insurance companies. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting with supportive teams, structured processes, and the ability to build valuable experience in patient access, registration, billing support, and healthcare administration. Day and night shifts are available, making this a flexible opportunity for candidates seeking short-term contract work in the medical field.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional customer service to patients, physicians, clinical teams, and administrative staff.
- Complete patient registration, update demographic information, verify insurance, and support accurate intake processes.
- Respond to billing inquiries and communicate with insurance companies regarding coverage, claims, and eligibility.
- Maintain accurate patient records while protecting confidentiality and following HIPAA requirements.
- Navigate multiple computer systems efficiently while managing high patient, call, or front office volume.
- Support daily front office operations and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on facility and experience.
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks.
- Schedule: Day and night shifts available.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Los Angeles, CA.
