IT Technician

Salary: $58,240 - 58,240 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 3 years of experience in an IT support role.
• We require experience installing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Active Directory.
• We require experience configuring access points, firewalls, and routers, such as Cisco or SonicWall equipment.
• We require a core understanding of VLANs, routing, and Layer 3 switching.
• We require proficiency with Windows operating systems, including at least 3 years of desktop support experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and remote support applications.
• We require virtualization experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V.
• We require familiarity with troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 and Exchange Online, including configuring Outlook desktop and web applications.
• We require LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity troubleshooting skills.
• We require knowledge of spyware and adware removal tools and antivirus programs.
• We require an associate-level degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field; a bachelors degree is preferred.
• We require a CCNA certification. Related certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCP, or Network+ are preferred.
• We require the ability to commute to or relocate to Walnut, California, before starting work.

• We rely on you to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 onsite and remote IT helpdesk support to hotel employees for hardware, software, network, and network-device connectivity issues.
• You will ensure PCs connect and communicate with LAN/WAN resources, including servers, printers, and the internet.
• You will image and deploy computers and maintain user workstations with current software patches and antivirus and antimalware definitions.
• You will maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventories and reports.
• You will support hotel and franchise software or hardware refreshes, PC replacements, brand conversions, takeovers, and installation projects.
• You will address systems-related problems and coordinate with vendors to set up and maintain interfaces among hotel property management systems, internet services, telephone and TV services, credit card systems, and point-of-sale systems.
• You will plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet assigned objectives.
• You will work normal business hours and remain flexible for after-hours or weekend support when properties need system or network issues resolved.
