DINING SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Responsible for coordinating meal service for patients, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery, pick‑up, and special requests for the Dining on Call Program. Ensures employees are trained and units are staffed to provide efficient service. Key Responsibilities Oversee Nutrition Operators, Workstation and Wait Staff Associates. Manage systems and processes to achieve strategic and operational objectives of Dining on Call. Assist in the selection, orientation, and training of Dining on Call staff. Collaborate with Nutrition Operators to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences. Evaluate daily meal selection, tray completion, delivery, and retrieval processes. Respond to patient needs promptly; resolve concerns or report issues as needed. Develop and post employee schedules per department policy. Communicate job flow changes to staff. Coordinate daily and weekly tasks performed by Dining on Call staff. Maintain compliance with federal, state, local health regulations, JCAHO, and HACCP guidelines. Submit required documentation, reports, and logs accurately and timely. Visit patients on assigned nursing units to ensure care is delivered during their stay. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Previous experience in food service, supervisory roles, customer service, and cashiering. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of dietary restrictions and cultural food preferences is a plus. Compensation Fixed Pay Rate: $18.10 per hour.
